PNA SOCCER ACADEMY
Philosophy

We want our players to succeed. We focus on the development of each individual- both as a player on the field and as a person. The success of our organization and our players is based on discipline, trust, respect, pride and commitment of both our staff and the players. Our goal is to instill in our players love of the game and to teach them the valuable skills of problem solving and group work.

We are dedicated to total player development and to achieve that we offer a comprehensive program that focuses on both physical and mental aspect of the sport. We offer technical and tactical training, fitness training, and mental conditioning. We also educate our players about nutrition and the importance of physical activity.

Besides teaching the children the skills that will help them achieve success, at the end of the day we try to keep some fun in everything we do. We want to keep a healthy balance between the competitive aspect of playing in the best youth league in the United States (NISL) and enjoying the game. We want the young players to love soccer and build lasting relationships with their teammates. We organize trips and team outings to build those bonds. Whether it is a friendly match against the parents, a trip to a professional game, or a simple barbeque, we work on interpersonal relations and keep a bit of fun in the competition.

We also believe in open communication with the parents. We want to teach the parents about soccer, manage their expectations and discuss with them their children’s development. We also want to give them pointers on how they can help the young players with their skills and encourage their self confidence. We hold seminars with renowned coaches and psychologists who can help the parents understand behavioral patterns and how to handle various situations. We want the parents to stay educated, informed and involved in their children’s lives.

Here at the PNA Soccer Academy we believe that we make great players as well as good, respectful people. We instill pride, confidence, respect and discipline in our players and help reach their full potential.
